The Germantown Inn Featured in Condé Nast Traveler & The New York Times!

This month, my shoot of Nashville's colorful Germantown Inn was featured in the print edition of Condé Nast Traveler and The New York Times! The boutique hotel is in the heart of up and coming Germantown (one of my absolute favorite neighborhoods and home to my all time favorite restaurant, City House)  and is designed with punchy color and comfort in mind. One of the trademark details of the space is the eclectic artwork featuring Founding Fathers in colorful hairdos. It's fun to use those unique design elements to create a focal point for the shot. It's also great to work with amazing local businesses and share the Nashville love!

Colorful Chic Christmas with Style Me Pretty Living

Tis the season .............. ! With the holidays around the corner, I collaborated with the color queen herself, Kendall Simmons, as she showcased Christmas with all the Hues of the rainbow. This is a vibrant and playful way to approach the holiday spirit including fresh lavender and beautiful florals in the Christmas tree.

This time of year represents family, substance and blending the old with the new. I loved shooting this project for Kendall, because, while we are all rushing around closing out the end of the year and prepping for the holidays..... this shoot reminds me to live a life of color and creativity. I am grateful to the talented ladies at Style Me Pretty Living for the beautiful feature. I wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season along with a beautiful New Year. Xx

Gratitude. Collaboration. Authenticity. These are the words I try to live by both personally and professionally. I am humbled and grateful to have TWO projects in the NEW Domino Book. Like many of you, Domino has always been a source of inspiration and when I received the invitation to be part of their new book, it was a dream come true and bucket list item for me. 

Since its debut TEN years ago, DOMINO: The Book of Decorating, has been an inspiration staple and a favorite design resource. Lucky for us, the new DOMINO BOOK was officially launched last week.  It is an honor to be in such great company with so many talents in this book. A Color Rich Austin Home to Brighten Any Day on MYDOMAINE

Designer..... it’s such a blanket word, covering so many genres of creative expression. But when I say the Elizabeth Mollin is a designer, well, I feel like it’s not a big enough word for her talent. She’s a textile designer. An interior designer. She’s the designer behind interesting and gorgeous custom wallpaper lines. So, yes, she’s a designer, and so much more. 

I was introduced to Elizabeth’s work, Stone Textile, a few years ago through one of my first clients. Quickly we developed a mutual admiration for the others art form and maintained contact—that’s the gift of social media, the ease in which we connect and stay connected. Three years later, I happily accepted the opportunity to photograph Elizabeth’s work. 

Elizabeth has established a reputation as a designer with impeccable taste and fearless use of gorgeous jewel tones and dynamic patterns. Her innate ability to anchor bright and bold elements and compliment them with rest sets her apart. You’ll love every moment of her work.
